EDUCATION IS KEY (By David Dela Brown)

Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which knowledge, skills and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching training and research.We need education because it is just as important as the primary basic needs. Education enhances one's knowledge, gives one a broader view of the world around us and how things work , reduces the social and economic disparity thus propagating equality and it also raises one's self esteem. It also gives us the knowledge of the world around us. It develops in us a perspective look at life.

There were two families, one was rich and the other was poor. The poor family was living in a cottage and the rich family was living in a mansion near the cottage.The rich family  had a daughter who was named Emelia.The poor ones  had twins, a  boy and a girl who were named Kofi and Efua. Kofi and Efua were very hard working and itelligent whiles Emelia was lazy and not intelligent.One day, their school had an essay competition and the award for the winner was a schorlarship. When they went home, they informed thier parents about it. Kofi and Esi wrote the essay well but Emelia could not write well.When they annouced the winner it was a tie between Kofi and Esi.

The two of them were taken abroad.When they travelled abroad, they studied hard, had jobs and built mansions for thier family. So through this story it can be said that education is key to success.
